This position supports the FDOT OIT PALM Remediation Program and plays a key leadership and administrative role. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of administrative and project-related tasks supporting the OIT PALM Program.
• Analyze and document processes; create diagrams and workflow visualizations.
• Create and maintain documentation, spreadsheets, presentations, and internal SharePoint sites.
• Utilize ServiceNow for configuration, time, and service management activities.
• Manage backlogs and work items using Azure DevOps.
• Support the hiring process: write Statements of Work, screen candidates, schedule interviews.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires, including workstation coordination.
• Track training, manage consultant hours, and help with annual recertification.
• Foster a collaborative and communicative team environment.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience analyzing and prioritizing tasks and goals independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication; note-taking and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent organization and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Experience in customer service and adhering to compliance standards.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in State Government environments.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with My Florida Marketplace (MFMP).
• Building and managing SharePoint sites and PowerAutomate workflows.
• Creating workflow diagrams and flowcharts.
• Experience with Agile project teams and tools like Azure DevOps.
• Leading or assisting with small project initiatives.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
