Practice Supervisor - Vascular Clinic
Summary:
The Practice Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations and staff of the vascular clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient clinic workflows. They supervise clinical and administrative personnel, manage schedules, and maintain compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide leadership to clinic staff, medical assistants, and administrative personnel
- Oversee patient scheduling, room assignments, and clinic flow to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times
- Ensure adherence to clinic policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements for patient care and safety
- Monitor supply inventory and order medical supplies and equipment as needed
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of clinic staff
- Address and resolve patient complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care and coordinate treatment plans
- Analyze clinic data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation
- Participate in department meetings and continuously improve clinic operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a vascular or related specialty
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and office software applications
- Knowledge of medical terminology, regulations, and best practices in clinical operations
