Pre- Apprentice: Plumber

When you become a Plumber Pre-Apprentice, you begin to learn a trade that will be with you throughout your life! You'll be working next to accomplished tradespeople and learn what it means to do that job. We are dedicated to getting the job done- but we have a good time in the process!

Within 4-6 months, we'll talk with you about how you're doing and then we'll decide to sponsor you for an apprenticeship and will help you through that process. You'll make money while you're learning- and we pay for your training! 

The commitment to this process is several years. If that doesn't fit your lifestyle, then this may not be the best role for you. 

What will you do in your job? 

• Work closely with plumbing journeymen on systems and components 
• Learn water treatment equipment, piping and controls 
• Develop skill set surrounding plumbing layout 
• Learn and develop efficiency with Mig, Tig and Arc welding
• Install plumbing fixtures and trim 

What do you need to do this job? 

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent 
• Have a current driver's license with favorable driving record 
• Demonstrate math skills- we have an assessment for you to take! 
• Achieve successful scores on either the Accuplacer or your ACTs 
• One year of construction experience will help! 
• Be physically able to complete the work of the trade
