Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Pre-Litigation and Litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral part of an established legal team, managing cases before they enter the litigation phase. You will perform legal research, gather accident details, file documents, draft and analyze legal documents, and communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other relevant parties. The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining case files
- Organizing medical records, bills, and other documentation
- Compose detailed and persuasive demand letters for a variety of personal injury cases
- Monitoring case timelines and ensuring compliance with deadlines
- Drafting correspondence and routine legal documents
- Providing general administrative support to attorneys as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a pre-litigation personal injury paralegal
Prior experience in drafting personal injury demands is a MUST
- Excellent understanding of personal injury pre-litigation legal procedures and terminology
- Excellent people skills and ability to maintain professionalism with injured clients
- Competent computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly
- Strong research and analytical skills to ensure comprehensive and factually accurate letters
- Highly organized with document management experience
- Excellent research skills
- Comfortable Microsoft Office and case management software
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively
