Technology is rapidly transforming the construction industry, with adoption growing exponentially each year due to significant advancements in customer efficiency. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team of technology experts, providing support for John Deere SmartGrade and Topcon machine control solutions. This role involves offering first-level support to both internal and external users, collaborating closely with the service and support functions of JESCO.
Responsibilities:
Provide initial support for inbound communications related to machine control support needs and questions from both internal and external users.
Log communications and support activities to identify recurring issues that may require escalation to factory partners or additional training.
Prepare machine control units and verify their operation in-house before deployment to the field.
Participate in continuous learning opportunities, including travel within the territory and attendance at manufacturer and internal training sessions to enhance machine control knowledge.
Make recommendations to dealer leadership regarding future technology support or training opportunities.
Present a professional image of JESCO when interacting with customers.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with peers, management, and support resources, with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred experience in dealership sales, service, training, or related fields.
Ability to operate with a solutions-oriented approach and identify emerging customer needs.
Capability to walk on uneven surfaces and terrain, and work in construction site environments to meet with customers on job sites.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as required.
Willingness to travel occasionally to other JESCO locations and training opportunities, including some air and/or overnight travel.
Valid Driver's License – Must pass an MVR check and meet underwriting requirements.
