Precision Electromechanical Assembler 1

Performs a variety of operations to assemble precision electromechanical products. Performs tasks such as honing and operating manual equipment; uses precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to a specified tolerance. Assembles, disassembles, repairs, and reassembles precision assemblies and corrects malfunctions. May assemble and modify prototype precision units for engineering personnel. May monitor and verify quality by statistical processes or other control procedures. Perform accurate data/record keeping. Perform tasks according to the company's electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures. Ability to work from designs, work instructions, and verbal instructions. Ability to complete in-house Solder, Optics, ESD, and FOD certifications. Ability to use Microsoft Office products. Handle hazardous chemicals, baths, and cleaning solutions safely as part of the assembly process, following all related safety guidelines. Perform repetitive tasks and sustain prolonged standing during work shifts. Ability to work overtime, including staying after normal working hours and weekend work when needed High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience handling hazardous chemicals, baths, and cleaning solutions safely as part of the assembly process, following all related safety guidelines. Experience performing the assembly of the products. Experience with safety practices and procedures during assembly operations. Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity. Capable of performing precision assembly and soldering. Previous experience in handling/cleaning optics and optic assemblies. Additional Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Must be comfortable working with hazardous chemicals and cleaning solutions, with a focus on rigorous adherence to safety protocols. Position involves repetitive tasks and prolonged standing; the candidate should be able to manage these physical demands effectively.
