Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Precision Grinder to work for a great company! The Precision Grinder will be responsible for producing tight-tolerance components that meet strict quality and customer specifications while supporting daily production goals in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surface, OD/ID, magnetic chuck, CNC, and crush grinders

• Read and interpret blueprints, job packets, and technical drawings

• Select, dress, and maintain appropriate grinding wheels for each job

• Inspect finished parts to confirm tight tolerances and high-quality finishes

• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators

• Perform basic maintenance and light repairs on grinding equipment

• Work with team members and engineers to resolve issues and improve processes

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with company standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of precision grinding or high-tolerance machining experience

• Hands-on experience with grinding machines, tooling, and materials

• Strong ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools

• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

• Mechanical aptitude with solid problem-solving skills

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well within a team
