Job Description - Pre-Construction/Estimator

MUST HAVE 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE BIDDING GOVERNMENT WORK FOR A GENERAL CONTRACTOR.

Owns the accurate and timely development of budgets, bids, and cost models to support profitable project acquisition and controlled execution.

Core Responsibilities

Prepare conceptual through GMP estimates

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor pricing

Maintain cost histories and unit pricing

Identify scope gaps, risk, and value-engineering opportunities

Support bid strategy and turnover to operations

Success Profile

Detail driven

Schedule disciplined

Margin focused

Must have 3 years’ experience with GC bidding

Government work in excess of $5 million dollar projects.
