Inspection and Testing

• Perform thorough inspections of products, identifying any defects or issues.
• Utilize various testing equipment and tools to conduct functional and performance tests.
• Verify that products comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Document and report any non-conformities or defects detected during inspections.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all products meet the established quality criteria before delivery.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to develop and implement inspection protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.

Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, test results, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
• Communicate effectively with production and quality control teams to address any issues.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes.
• Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inspections.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in quality assurance or inspection roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Compensation:

The pay range listed is the base pay range that Satellite Shelters, inc/Satellite Industries, Inc. reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
