Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Location

This is a fully on-site position based in Lancaster, California, ideal for candidates who enjoy in-person collaboration and structured case workflows.

Note

This role requires prior personal injury pre-litigation experience, including hands-on involvement with medical records, treatment tracking, and demand preparation.

Job Description

• Manage personal injury cases through the treatment and pre-demand phase
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding treatment progress and case status
• Track and monitor medical treatment to ensure completeness before demand preparation
• Request, follow up on, and organize medical records and billing statements
• Review medical documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare comprehensive demand packages and demand letters for insurance carriers
• Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding records, liens, and supporting documents
• Maintain detailed and timely case notes within the case management system
• Ensure deadlines, follow-ups, and pre-litigation milestones are consistently met
• Support attorneys and legal staff with pre-litigation case management tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a personal injury law firm required
• Experience as a Pre-Demand Case Manager, Case Manager, or Pre-Litigation Specialist strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of personal injury claims and insurance procedures
• Experience obtaining and reviewing medical records and medical billing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities
• Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
