Pre-K -8th Grade Music Teacher--PT

Description

St. Patrick School is seeking an enthusiastic, part-time, music teacher to lead a positive and productive classroom for the 2025-2026 school year.

The final candidate fulfills the mission of the Catholic Church by planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process of the students within the framework of the school's philosophy, organization, and curriculum. The teacher provides the appropriate learning atmosphere and activities designed to maximize student competencies and skills for intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth. The music teacher leads students as the choir and cantors at our school mass.

The final candidate must have solid communication skills that will be utilized daily in partnering and communicating with students, peers, and families.

Days & times TBD between principal and music teacher.

The position is hired by, evaluated by, and reports directly to the school principal.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in education from an accredited university (Music Education preferred)
• A valid teaching certificate is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing is preferred but not required.
