PreK Lead Teacher

Description of the Role:

The PreK Lead Teacher at The Sapling School in Fair Lawn, NJ will be responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate and stimulating curriculum for preschool children.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum


• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for preschool children


• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress


• Supervise and support assistant teachers in the classroom

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children


• Strong communication and organizational skills


• Knowledge of early childhood education practices


• A valid teaching certification in Early Childhood Education


• Must be able to work somewhere between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday through Friday.

Benefits:

• Competitive compensation of $18.00 - $22.00 per hour paid bi-weekly. Compensation is dependent on experience and credentials.
