We are seeking a Pre-K Co-Lead Teacher for The Goddard School® located in Collegeville, PA (across from the Providence Town Center off the Collegeville/Phoenixville 422 exit!) We're looking for a passionate, experienced, and creative teacher to join our Pre-K classroom. In this role, you'll foster a nurturing and fun environment while delivering a play-based, ready-to-use but customizable curriculum—no late-night lesson planning required! You'll guide daily activities, support child development, assess progress, and collaborate with a warm, dedicated team of  like-minded, committed educators! Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred

  • 2-4 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred

  • Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members

  • Desire to work collaboratively with others (team player)

  • Enjoys working with positive, like-minded people who are passionate about education

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children

Lead Teacher Qualifications 
 
 Curriculum & Instruction:

  • Create and implement flexible, age-appropriate lesson plans using Goddard’s curriculum, along with individually designed age-appropriate lessons preparing children for Kindergarten.

  • Inspire a love of learning through hands-on, engaging activities that incorporate both academic learning along with social and emotional development.

  • Observe and assess student development, adapting lessons using real-time data.

Classroom Management:

  • Build a safe, welcoming, and child-centered classroom environment.

  • Manage daily routines smoothly and use positive guidance for behavior.

Family Communication:

  • Keep families informed through daily updates (written and verbal) and bi-annual conferences.

  • Foster strong parent partnerships and encourage involvement.

Health & Safety:

  • Maintain a clean, safe learning space; follow all safety protocols.

  • Supervise children at all times—indoors and outdoors.

Professional Growth:

  • Engage in ongoing training and stay current on best practices.

  • Collaborate with teammates to support a strong school community.
