ECE Substitutes, Inc. partners with early learning programs across the Kansas City Metro to provide flexible, high-quality educators. We are currently hiring Pre-K Teachers to support classrooms serving children ages 3–5.

Position Overview
As a Pre-K Teacher with ECE Substitutes, you’ll provide engaging instruction, nurture social-emotional growth, and ensure children are prepared for kindergarten. This role is perfect for teachers who thrive in play-based learning environments and enjoy working with preschool-age learners.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in developmentally appropriate lessons for pre-kindergarten students


• Support early literacy, math, and school readiness skills through play and structured learning


• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment


• Ensure compliance with state early childhood licensing requirements

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of classroom experience in early childhood (Pre-K preferred)


• Minimum 18 years of age


• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA, Associate’s (preferred)


• Knowledge of early childhood development and Pre-K standards


• Strong classroom management and communication skills


• Must pass state background checks and meet health/safety requirements
