Pre-K Teacher (FULL TIME)

The Learning Circle YMCA, a branch of the Summit Area YMCA, is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Pre-K Teacher to join our team. In this role, you’ll create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

You’ll guide children as they explore, discover, and learn through fun, developmentally appropriate activities. You’ll provide comfort and reassurance, encourage curiosity, and help each child feel valued and supported every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• Supervise children to ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Maintain open, positive communication with families and colleagues
• Adhere to YMCA policies and state licensing regulations

Salary & Benefits: This Full Time position (40 hours per week) is Monday- Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm with a flex schedule. The pay for this role starts at $18.00/ hour and is based on experience. • Minimum CDA credential
• At least 1 year of prior classroom experience in a licensed child care center or school setting
• Have strong leadership, communication, planning and organization skills
• Are 18 years of age or older
