Pre-Lit Disbursement Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Disbursement Coordinator to join our growing personal injury practice. This full-time, in-office position is responsible for managing all settlement disbursements for the pre-litigation department, while also overseeing a small caseload of personal injury pre-litigation files.

Key Responsibilities:

Disbursement Coordination (Primary Role):

• Prepare accurate settlement memos and disbursement statements
• Ensure timely payment of attorney fees, medical bills, liens, and client funds
• Confirm final balances and reductions with medical providers and lienholders
• Communicate and coordinate with case managers, attorneys, and accounting
• Maintain organized records of all settlements and disbursements
• Coordinating and following up on releases and checks 

Pre-Litigation Case Management (Secondary Role):

• Manage a small caseload of personal injury cases 
• Collect medical records, bills, and documentation to support claims
• Communicate with clients, providers, and insurance adjusters
• Draft demand letters
• Provide responsive, compassionate client service throughout the case 

• 2+ years of experience in personal injury (disbursement or case management) or relevant field
• Strong knowledge of personal injury processes and medical billing
• High attention to detail and accuracy with financial data
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software

Work Environment:

• This is a 100% in-office position, Monday through Friday
