Job Overview:

The Pre-Litigation Attorney is responsible for managing a case load of clients by providing professional communication with insurance adjusters, medical providers, clients, and other parties to resolve and settle cases quickly and get clients the justice they deserve.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Review intakes

• Conduct initial client meetings
• Manage a case load of assigned cases
• Develop pre-litigation strategies
• Assign and oversee tasks for legal assistants and paralegals in furtherance of strategies
• Correspond with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties to resolve cases quickly and efficiently.
• Negotiate offers with insurance companies
• Assist with preparing legal pleadings
• Assist with the development of mass tort pre-litigation and litigation strategies and coordinate with mass tort attorneys in the supervision of support staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must be a licensed attorney for the State of Montana
