Job Title: Preop/PACU Charge RN
Location: Hauppauge, NY
Annual Salary: $115,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday - No weekends, no on-call, no holidays

Position Overview

A brand new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) specializing in Orthopedics, Spine, and Pain Management is hiring a full-time Preop/PACU Charge RN. The facility features four operating rooms and emphasizes a team-focused environment with predictable weekday-only schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Preop and PACU nursing teams
• Provide direct nursing care to preoperative and postoperative patients
• Maintain safety and quality standards across patient care areas
• Coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active NY State RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Preop/PACU recovery experience
• Minimum 3 years of charge nurse experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
