Pre-Owned Inventory & Acquisition Specialist
Gerald Jones Audi Volkswagen Mazda is seeking a detail-driven, analytical Pre-Owned Inventory & Acquisition Specialist to help manage and optimize used-vehicle inventory across our Audi, Volkswagen, and Mazda locations.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and improving processes.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate & Analyze
- Evaluate trades using vehicle history, condition, market data, pricing, and projected costs.
- Analyze market trends and inventory performance to support acquisition and pricing decisions.
Source & Manage Inventory
- Identify inventory needs based on market demand and sales trends.
- Help source vehicles that fit our inventory strategy.
- Assist with pricing and the timely disposition of aging vehicles.
Coordinate Vehicle Readiness
- Partner with Service, Parts, and Detail to move vehicles efficiently from acquisition to the sales floor.
- Monitor progress and address delays to help achieve the three-day-or-less readiness goal.
Maintain & Monitor Inventory
- Conduct lot walks to ensure vehicles are clean, properly positioned, priced, and ready for customers.
- Track inventory age, market position, sales activity, and other key metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory performance and profitability.
