Prep - Team Member

Location: Chick-fil-A Viewmont

Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time

Reports To: Kitchen Manager or Shift Leader

Job Summary:

As a Prep Team Member at Chick-fil-A, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, following food safety guidelines, and supporting the kitchen team in delivering high-quality meals to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients according to company recipes and food safety standards
• Assemble prep items (i.e., salads, wraps, parfaits, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations and cold storage areas
• Label, date, and rotate food to ensure freshness and prevent waste
• Assist in unloading and storing deliveries as needed
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure ingredient availability and proper stock levels
• Follow all Chick-fil-A food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
• Uphold Chick-fil-A’s high standards of hospitality and excellence, even in non-customer-facing roles

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to stand on feet for entire shift
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Morning shift needed!
