We are a new concept in southwest Omaha. We are currently seeking a Prep Cook to join our talented kitchen staff and contribute to the overall excellence of our establishment.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing workstations, cooking ingredients, and maintaining kitchen equipment for cooking. Your creativity and attention to detail will shine through as you cook and arrange food to ensure an appealing presentation for our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a sanitized and well-organized kitchen
• Prepare workstations for cooking
• Prepare and maintain kitchen equipment
• Check the quality of ingredients
• Prepare cooking ingredients using various techniques
• Cook food using various culinary techniques
• Arrange food and ensure appealing presentation
• Manage food storage, stock, and ingredient orders

Requirements:

• Have completed the Level 2 Course for Douglas County's Food Handlers Certification (https://foodhandlers.douglascountyhealth.com/)
• Prior experience as a cook
• Skilled in operating kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques
• Familiarity with sanitation procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and act quickly
