Prep-Cook/Cook

Waters Edge Lodge is looking for a Prep-Cook/Cook!

We are looking for someone to work some prep- and some cook shifts, to make full-time work.

Prep days are $19.50 per hour, cook days are $21.00 per hour

This is a great position for someone who wants to start moving up in the back of house!

The primary functions of the Prep-Cook are:

• Food prep and portioning prior to service


• Stock shelves with incoming supplies


• Perform routine cleaning tasks


• Washing dishes and helping maintain a clean kitchen environment

The primary functions of the Cook are:

• Cook and prepare menu items in accordance with provided menus


• Meeting visual service standards including proper plating and service of menu items


• Ensuring compliance with prescribed diets


• Maintain safety and cleanliness of kitchen environment

We are looking for full-time working on a rotating schedule of 4 days on, 2 days off 

Schedule would be two days prep-cook then two days dinner cook. (4-on, 2-off means everyone works some weekends and everyone gets some weekends off)

AM Prep shift is 7:30am-4:00pm

Dinner Cook shift is 10:30am-7:00pm

Minimum qualifications are:

• 18 years of age


• Ability to work effectively with all personality types


• Knowledge of kitchen machines and utensils


• Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements in food preparation and serving


• Ability to cook, bake, and prepare food in large quantities


• Ability to follow menus including those with special diets


• Ability to follow written and oral directions


• Ability to lift 50 pounds


• Push/pull 75 pounds up to 100 feet

Employment requirements include:
