Truckstar is looking for a Paint Prep Technician to join our paint department immediately. As a prepper, you will be part of our team getting customer vehicles sanded and masked for paint. Our painters are committed to doing the job right and delivering quality paint jobs. Whether you’re just starting out or have prep experience – we have projects for you!

• Work experience in vehicle service-related field

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and assemble vehicles as needed


• Move and setup vehicles and equipment for blasting & painting


• Use hand and power tools to sand, prime and block


• Mask adjacent panels


• Wiping down and preparing for paint application


• Physical ability to work at a variety of heights and positions


• Read and understand work orders


• Wash vehicles and perform light detailing
