About The Opportunity

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures 

• Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements 

• Create and manipulate Mac & PC files with several different graphic design programs 

• Work with the Macintosh platforms utilizing Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat PDF files 

• Pre-flight documents according to printing standards and make necessary adjustments to all types of files to ready them for print and digital reproduction 

• Interact with customer service, external customers and other business leaders regarding the status of jobs and in problem-solving scenarios 

• Learn new equipment and procedures quickly and easily pass on this knowledge to others 

• Apply knowledge of imposition, color separation and trapping for press 

• Coordinate Press OKs, and work with press operators to manage projects without guidance 

• Create mylar dieline layouts 

• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements 

• Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives 

• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
