ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


*  Always conducts themselves in a professional manner. Maintains patient/resident/employee privacy and confidentiality at all times.
*  Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day.
*  Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.
*  Participate as a team member and is accountable for own work responsibilities.
*  Strong Knowledge of health insurance
*  Detail Oriented and Task Driven.
*  Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits and coverage limitations
*  Collaborate with scheduling, prior auth and billing teams to ensure smooth patient flow
*  Serve as primary contact for pre access registration and insurance verifications inquires
*  Identify and resolve coverage discrepancies before patients visits or in real time supporting registration staff needs.
*  Stay current on insurance plans, policies and payer requirements including Medicare and Medicaid
*  Confirm prior authorizations for all applicable services before the scheduled visit
*  Respond to patient or team inquiries in real time
*  Verify 100% of patient insurance eligibility 24-48 hours prior to visit
*  Serve as primary contact for registration and insurance verification inquires in real time
*  Completing and releasing medical records, as needed.
*  Other job related duties as assigned, may include scheduling and managing patients, scheduling of appointments, assembling patient forms for appointments, and         assisting with office phone calls.
*  Communicates the scheduling and patient process
*  Alert Registration Training Support Specialist to any insurance issues in an efficient and timely manner.
*  Provide support of updates and demonstrates strong communication skills both oral and written.
*  Enter and update patient data in EMR


Wage starts at $18.55 and goes up with experience


Immunizations required for employment, including flu vaccine
