We are looking for experienced Lead Teachers for our Preschool classes at The Goddard School of Burlington. This person would be responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment. The teachers are responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans following curricular and stimulating young and curious minds.

Educational Qualifications:
• An Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or a related field.

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment

Develop lesson plans to advance children’s physical and intellectual competence

Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance

Establish positive and effective relations with parents

Ability to multitask and work well with others

Qualifications:

Associate or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field or Child Development Associate

At least 2 year experience working with children in a center

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Goddard Systems University (GSU) offers ongoing, accredited professional development training to Goddard School teachers. It also provides mandatory training that meets strict local and state licensing regulations. GSU is an authorized provider through The International Association for Continuing Education and Training.
