Timberlake Church is Hiring in Our School Programs for the 2024-25 School Year!

We are hiring for the following roles: 

Lead Teachers (full-time), Assistant Teachers (full-time)/Floater Teachers (part-time), and Substitutes (part-time)

Who We Are: Timberlake Christian Preschool provides care for children ages 2-5 in a loving and supportive environment licensed by the Department of Early Learning. We focus on hands-on, project-based teaching as a pathway to exploration and investigation.

What We Teach: Our teachers have the creative space to use an emergent curriculum to inspire passionate learning. Our content areas includes the arts, science, math, Bible, social studies, literacy, and technology. Each area is implemented in unique and creative ways. We aim to support each child and create a safe environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated, friendly, and reliable Teachers and substitutes to join our team in Redmond, WA. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of teaching experience.

Personal Requirements for all Job Postings

• Completion of Early Childhood Education classes preferred or working on requirements (Depending on position)


• Bachelor’s Degree preferred


• Current TB Certificate (Within one year)


• Copy of Background Authorization Form including Fingerprint Card (Current)


• HIV/Blood Borne Pathogen training


• CPR/First Aid Documentation


• Food Handlers Certification


• Child Abuse Training


• Earned STARS 30 hours or exemption.


• Active member of a Christian church


• Genuine love of children and devotion to their well-being


• Ability to relate well to children and adults.


• A commitment to fulfill the mission of Timberlake Church.


• Positive attitude, reliability, and a good sense of humor.


• Patience and flexibility; ability to manage children in a calm manner.


• Embrace Timberlake’s philosophy, teaching style and behavior management techniques.

Benefits:

• Salary: $20 - 25/ per hour depending on experience and role.
