About Us:
We are a growing network of faith-based preschools that have recently expanded to include 3-5 locations in the Charleston, SC area. Our mission is to nurture and inspire young minds through faith-based learning, creating a safe and loving environment where children thrive. We are seeking an experienced Regional Director to provide leadership, operational excellence, and spiritual guidance across our centers.

Position Overview:
The Regional Director will collaborate closely with the COO and Vice President of Operations to ensure smooth operations, maintain compliance with state regulations, and foster a nurturing environment aligned with our faith-based mission. This role involves managing and developing Center Directors, ensuring high-quality educational programs, and maintaining strong relationships with families and the community.

Requirements

 

Leadership & Operations:

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple preschool locations, ensuring alignment with organizational values and state licensing standards.
  • Develop and coach Center Directors to ensure operational excellence, growth, and adherence to best practices.
  • Implement systems and procedures that promote consistency and efficiency across all locations.

Coaching & Development:

  • Provide ongoing mentorship and professional development to Center Directors and staff.
  • Conduct regular site visits, evaluations, and assessments to ensure program quality.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Parent & Community Relations:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between families, school leadership, and the community.
  • Promote open communication and address parent concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Strengthen relationships with the local community to enhance program awareness and enrollment.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure all centers adhere to state and local licensing requirements and organizational safety standards.
  • Conduct audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of multi-unit leadership experience in a preschool, childcare, or early childhood education setting.
  • Strong background in faith-based education and a commitment to integrating Christian values into daily operations.
  • Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Knowledge of state licensing regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with acquisitions and transitions in a multi-site environment.
  • Familiarity with Procare or similar childcare management systems.
