Preschool Substitute Teacher

Our Substitute Preschool Teachers are dependable, caring individuals who love working with children ages 2–6. We’re looking for flexible team players who enjoy being part of a supportive team, collaborating with others, and stepping into different classrooms as needed.

Substitute Teachers help maintain a safe, engaging, and consistent classroom environment by following established lesson plans, classroom routines, and teacher expectations. Ideal candidates are organized, adaptable, and excited to help children grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Applicant Requirements:

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and willingness to model Biblical priorities and the core values of C3.


• Successful completion of a C3-initiated background check.


• Experience working with young children in an educational, childcare, or ministry setting.


• Dependable and able to work scheduled substitute shifts as committed.


• Flexible and comfortable stepping into different classrooms, age groups, and routines.


• Ability to follow established lesson plans, classroom expectations, and preschool procedures.


• A positive, collaborative approach to working with teachers and preschool staff.

Reports to:  Preschool Director, Stacie Staniszewski

Required Hours: On-call/as needed; hours will vary. Morning and afternoon substitute opportunities are available.

Compensation:  Minimum wage $17.13/hour

Timeframe:  2026–2027 School Year
