Preschool Teacher (1 - 3 years old)

Camelback Holistic Preschool is Arizona’s first Holistic preschool. We focus on offering every student an exceptional personalized, developmentally and culturally appropriate education, which fosters social/emotional, intellectual, and physical growth while providing a foundation for a life-long love of learning.

We are currently looking for an teachers to work with children 1 to 3 years old. A minimum of 6 months of classroom experience is required to be eligible for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engaging with and caring for young children.


• Assisting the lead teacher with transitions, whole group activities, small group activities, and playground time.


• Oversee or create lessons for the end of the day.


• Perform daily cleaning and organization.


• Serving meals and snacks and following rules for serving food safely.


• Helping children with diapering, pottying, and hand washing.


• Have a positive attitude and be a team player.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least six months of early childhood experience required with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the ability to ensure its use in the classroom.


• Eligible to work in the United States

• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference.

• Energetic and excited about working with kids.

• Level one fingerprint clearance card (must have valid card prior to working - these can be obtained quickly).

• Clear TB test within the past 12 months (can be obtained prior to starting).

• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.

• Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, engage in physical activity with children, and be on your feet and moving the majority of the day.

• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
