My name is Tammy LaRue along with my husband Ramon, we are the proud owners of Kidding Around. We are on site owners with a heart for children. We have combined our past experiences of my 20 years in child care and Ramon’s 32 years in business management, to provide our community with a place where children can have a home away from home. We have created Kidding Around to serve two primary goals for the city of Lee’s Summit and its surrounding communities. Kidding Around provides a fun and safe environment in which children can experience emotional, physical, and social growth. We also provide a learning environment for children to grow academically. Our curriculum focuses on the following areas: Math, Science, Language, Arts, Social skills, Music, and Spanish. We also offer physical fitness activities as part of our daily routines. Kidding Around can make a positive difference in your child’s life. Our warm, loving teachers provide individualized attention and instruction with consistent structure and routine children crave. We offer care from 7 am to 6 pm Monday thru Friday. We serve children ages 6 weeks through 5 years of age. Our flexible scheduling is ideal for parents who work full-time or only part-time as well as the non-working parent who is looking for their child to build on their skills through group instruction.
