Countryside Daycare & Preschool is seeking a Pre-K Lead Teacher for our pre-kindergarten early learning program.
Qualifications: At least an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the human services field.
Experience: Two years of experience teaching children in an early learning setting.
Job Specific Performance Expectations:
- Establish, maintain, and implement standards of classroom management that support instruction while teaching the ECE curriculum
- Instruct assigned class with the ability to observe & assess children and plan and implement lesson plans
- Perform assessments and write reports
- Conduct a periodic review of educational goals and adapt plans as needed.
- Responsible to work in conjunction with the Director of Programs regarding daily issues and concerns.
- Responsible to perform duties professionally in response to a variety of students, co-workers, and situations.
Other Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills reflecting strong customer service and the ability to interact effectively with parents/guardians
- Ability to maintain high-level standards of confidentiality concerning center, staff, and family matters
