We believe each child possesses miraculous abilities and forms of intelligence. We are aware of the many ways in which intelligence, wisdom, and sense of self can come to life.  Our project based approach is built in relation to children’s interests, which we identify through close observation as well as ongoing reflection among teachers, and between children and parents. We offer many hands-on experiences with nature and artistic expression through which we invite children to explore and understand their expanding world.  We see early child development as an open-ended dialectical process that cannot be measured by simple standards or prescribed norms.  Our focus is on children’s emerging ideas which empower them on their life-long journey as self-motivated thinkers and problem solvers. We celebrate the diversity of family backgrounds from which our children come, and provide them a dynamic, responsive, and joyful preschool experience.
