We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs. This is a full time position from 7:00-4:00. The teacher would be a Co-Teacher in the classroom working with 3 yr olds.
You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum
- Teach beginning reading and math skills
- Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
- Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
- Communicate with parents and other school personnel
- Assess students’ skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or AA in ECE/Child Dvlpmnt/Education, CDA
- Ability to pass a state and federal background check
- A year of previous teaching experience preferred
- High-energy with a love of working with children
- Organized and detail-oriented
