Job Summary:
We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children ages 3–5. They will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that support the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a nurturing and safe classroom environment that promotes learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences.
- Observe and assess children's development and maintain accurate records of progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student behavior, milestones, and concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Promote positive behavior management and classroom routines.
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan school-wide events and activities.
- Follow all licensing regulations, health/safety procedures, and center policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is strongly preferred.
- CPR, First Aid, and other required training courses must be completed upon hire (if not already certified).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood development.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Active involvement with children both indoors and outdoors.
- Hours may vary based on program needs.

Our Journey
The story of Ma Maison began with Emmanuella Lauture, who spent over a decade in the banking industry, advancing from teller to management, and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in counseling and human resources development.
The idea of opening a childcare center emerged after she had twin daughters in 2003 and resurfaced when her youngest child was born five years later, as she sought to balance motherhood and career.
