Preschool Teacher Assistant

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Childhood Education and must have completed/enrolled at least 12 Early Childhood Education Units. As a Preschool Teacher Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the lead teacher in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for our young students.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for the children.

- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

- Assist with the supervision of children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime.

- Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members.

- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Hours will either be from 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:15am-4:45pm.

Requirements

- Must have completed at least 12 Early Childhood Education Units.

- Experience working with young children is preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.

- Must be able to pass a background check.
