Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher - Infant Classroom - to join our team! You will be leading a class of infant children through the school year, assessing fine motor and gross motor skills and designing instruction to meet children's’ collective and individual needs.

Individual must be passionate about learning and helping children reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, This individual must love connecting with children and creating an engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities

Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum

Teach beginning reading and math skills

Assist children with developing social and emotional skills

Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques

Communicate with parents and other school personnel

Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications

DCF 45hr training certification

Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

Problem-solving and mediation skills

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
