Position: Lead Preschool Teacher- Infants 6 weeks old- 12 months old
Age Group: Infants (6 weeks – 12 months) Shift: Morning shift with typical working hours of 7:30-4:30, 8-5, or 9:30-6:30 PM (shift time varies) Availability: Full-Time

Responsibilities:
Passion: Make a difference in the lives of children and teach them about Jesus.
Positive Attitude: Maintain a professional and positive demeanor. Be ready to break out in song, dance, give hugs, comfort and rock crying babies, and play on the floor.
Engagement: Organize and lead activities like story time, peek a boo, games, music, and sensory activities.
Support: Provide basic needs to children: diaper changing, bottle feeding and first food feedings, supervision, singing, dancing, and offering encouragement.
Preparation: Prepare materials and classrooms for activities and create lesson plans according to academic and biblical curricula.
Teaching: Teach social skills, expressions and infant age appropriate activities academic skills and Bible lessons using the One in Christ curriculum.
Assessment: Observe and assess infants development as per our assessment process and provide this information to parents.
Physical Activity: Stand for long periods, walk frequently, sit on the floor, lift up to 40 lbs., and sometimes run or sprint.
Fun: Engage with each child, be silly, laugh, and love.
Job Qualifications:
Required: Valid and current Level 1 DPS Fingerprint Card
Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience with infants.
Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma. Preferred : CDA (Child Development Associates) or college degree (BA or BS) or Associates Degree in Education or Child Development
Training: 12 training hours in ECE (Early childhood education)
Communication: Must speak English clearly and communicate effectively with staff and parents. Spanish as a second language is a plus!
Certification: Must be certified in Pediatric First Aid and CPR (we will provide if not current). Additional training will be provided upon hire.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, run, and lift/carry children up to 40 lbs.
