We are a social-constructivist school in Hollywood just south of Sunset Boulevard. Looking for art student/teachers - - painter, ceramicist, print-maker, choreographer, etc. (it’s the art part that counts) to work full-time or part-time with early childhood classes as assistant teachers. As part of our constructivist way of teaching, the languages of art have their place in work with young children prior to verbal language becoming dominant in much communication.  

It helps to have some familiarity with work with young children, as well as passion about sharing art ideas, but candidates need not have any formal teacher training. Early Childhood certificate or education is only a plus, not required, as long as the candidate is willing to learn through working with our Gold Star lead teachers and grow with us as a partner in our learning community. 

Candidates should be physically fit, have a recent health screening, TB test, and will need a Live Scan background check prior to starting. Please submit your resume with a cover letter describing how you see yourself becoming part of our community.
