We are seeking a Childcare Teacher With their CDA to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth


• Create a fun and safe learning environment


• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime


• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents


• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress


• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields


• Passionate about working with children


• Ability to build rapport with children


• Positive and patient demeanor


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Teachers work as a team to guide the development of the children as they learn in an environment of discovery and play. Preschool teachers are expected to organize, supervise, and implement preschool programming that supports the goals of the Kids In Motion childcare program.

• The classroom theme board changed monthly




• Parent board posted outside of the room - maintained weekly




• In-service hours and training completed monthly




• ASQs and Portfolios completed monthly

• Daily reports completed for Parents




• Engage children in activities and play that stimulates their development




• Ensure children are kept active, entertained, and engaged in developmental activities
