Job Description - President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Description
We are seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) that will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and directing all activities and programs of Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Affiliates, including services, programs, fundraising, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Directing the development and implementation of short and long range strategic and operating plans that will strengthen the organization
Ensuring that all business conduct meets or exceeds minimum standards required by law and will not condone any activities that achieve results through violation of the law, unethical business, or patient care practices
Fiscal planning, budgeting, and management of operations in accordance with fiscal parameters
Communicating the agency mission, vision, and values to all staff; providing leadership and direction for staff by encouraging them to act with authority and accountability within the organization
Serving as the official spokesperson for the organization; overseeing the organization’s public relations and communications program; and promoting awareness of the agency’s programs and services
Informing the governing body, and staff of current organizational, community, and industry trends
Position Qualifications:
Is a licensed physician, a registered nurse or holds an undergraduate degree. A bachelor's degree in business administration, master’s degree in health care or related field is preferred
At least three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in health care management, supervision, or administration preferably in Home Health or similar health care related field
Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel
Ability to market purposefully and deal tactfully with the community
Knowledge of corporate business management
Demonstrated ability to communicate well and proven public relations skills
Valid driver’s license
Automobile insurance
Physical exam within the last year
Two-step TB test
