Press Brake Operator

Overview:
A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to set up and operate machines used to bend and form sheet metal. This role is essential for producing precise, high-quality metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machines

Read blueprints and job specs

Choose and install correct tools/dies

Load/unload materials

Adjust settings for material type/thickness

Monitor quality and accuracy

Perform machine maintenance

Inspect finished parts

Follow safety and cleanliness standards

Requirements:

High school diploma (trade school/apprenticeship preferred)

5+ years of press brake and sheet metal experience

Familiar with CNC machines and basic G-code

Can read technical drawings and blueprints

Skilled with measuring tools and hand equipment

Able to troubleshoot and solve problems

Basic math and quality inspection skills

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
