Press Brake Operator 1st Shift

Hours:  Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:45 pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plan (blueprint) and production schedule
• Ensures that there is a sufficient number of raw materials available to complete      each job
• Measures and aligns materials to be used 
• Operates press brake to manufacture parts/components from sheet metal or metal
• Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Performs routine checks on press brake to detect any issues requiring maintenance or repair
• Maintains a clean work area
• Follows all safety rules / protocols

 Job Requirements:

· Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions and/or blueprints

 · Ability to safely and efficiently operate press brake controls

 · Ability to use calipers

 · Basic computer and math skills

 · Lifting is a requirement of this position - must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
