Role Description

As a Press Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch products that meet their specifications.  We are seeking a reliable and positive Press Operator for our 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm). Steady productivity and ability to stand for prolonged periods are essential. Some press operating experience is preferred, but we are willing to train.   

Work Location: Brentwood, TN. This is a full-time onsite position.     

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11pm, 40-hour work week regularly, overtime possible depending on order flow. 

Anticipated Start: As soon as possible 

Wage: $20-25 an hour based on experience

Requirements

Responsibilities:  

• Set up and operate printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials 
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment 
• Inspect printed materials for defects and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality control standards 
• Follow job specifications and customer requirements for each print job 
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production deadlines 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area  

Skills:  

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks 
• Understanding of basic printing technologies preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously 
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and to stand for long periods of time 
• Ability to work with deadlines 
• Able to communicate with others professionally 
• Able to work in a team environment
