Pressure Test Technician (Aerospace)

Overview

We’re hiring a Pressure Test Technician to perform hydrostatic and air-under-water testing on aerospace components. This role ensures parts meet strict engineering and safety standards before moving forward in production.

You’ll work hands-on with test equipment, fittings, and technical specifications owning the quality of every part you run.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specs, PSI, and torque requirements


• Set up test configurations using hoses, adapters, and proper fixturing


• Perform pressure tests within defined limits and hold times


• Inspect for leaks, pressure loss, and defects during testing


• Troubleshoot failures (seals, fittings, welds, FOD) and retest as needed


• Document results and initiate non-conformance reports when required


• Follow all safety and process procedures during pressurization and release

Preferred

• Aerospace or high-spec manufacturing experience


• Experience with hydrostatic or air-under-water testing


• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed specifications


• Familiarity with torque tools, fittings, and sealing systems


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
