Job Description

Under the direction of the Depot Manager and Yard Supervisor, this position operates a pressure washer to remove dirt, debris, and staining from pallets. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.

Duties

Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to: 

• Operate pressure washer machinery safely and effectively to clean a variety of surfaces.


• Use degreasers or removal chemical as label recommends when requested by supervision


• Maintain established schedule as requested and provide feedback to improve schedule efficiency


• Clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials from area being washed


• Carry out company safety procedures.


• Other manual duties as directed.


• Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.


• Keep tools and equipment in good repair

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED 


• Six months or more related experience.

The associate is required to frequently sit, stand, walk, and climb. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. The associate is also exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise levels in the work environment are typically low to moderate.
