Preventative Maintenance

Description

Tangent is seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Associate to evaluate and maintain equipment, manage parts replacement and ordering, and ensure operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience in identifying failure points, recommending updates, and the ability to read technical prints and handle low and high-voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-walks, perform inspections, and update work orders.
• Parts Management: Evaluate equipment, identify necessary replacements, and manage part orders.
• Troubleshooting: Identify failure points and recommend system updates or improvements.
• Technical Expertise: Read technical prints, and work with low and high-voltage systems.
• Collaboration: Work with the team to ensure smooth operations and timely repairs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent;      technical training preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years in preventative      maintenance or a similar role.
• Skills:
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Knowledge of low and high-voltage systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform  physically demanding tasks.
• Work in various environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas.
• Flexibility for on-call or extended hours.
