Prevention Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for monitoring, supervising and developing prevention services.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily in a timely manner. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This person must be proficient in interpersonal and communication skills, as well as time management and organizational skills. Must have excellent computer skills and comfortable with public speaking. This person must have the ability to work well with people and interact professionally one-on-one or in group settings.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in the human service field is preferred; experience in prevention programming may be accepted. Applicants must be certified as a Prevention Consultant or Specialist, or obtain the certification within two years of employment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less; manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
Job Duties
Per insurance, employees must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
