Working closely with the Program Manager, the Supervisor promotes strong practice, monitors program outcomes, ensures compliance with funding and documentation requirements, and fosters a supportive team culture that values accountability, professional growth, collaboration, and employee well-being.

  • Foster a positive team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and employee well-being.

  • Support staff in navigating complex family situations, maintaining healthy professional boundaries, and utilizing self-care strategies to reduce burnout and promote retention.

  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and actively participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention efforts.

  • Manage a limited caseload to maintain direct practice knowledge and support program billing requirements.

  • Participate in quality improvement activities, program planning, outcome monitoring, and implementation of best practices.

  • Assist in monitoring productivity and service delivery to ensure families receive timely, high-quality support.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Monitor staff documentation, service delivery, and case activity to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness.

  • Collaborate with Program Manager and Corporate Compliance and Quality Improvement staff to prepare for audits, reviews, and monitoring activities.

  • Support staff in meeting documentation, billing, and reporting requirements.

  • Utilize data and performance measures to identify trends, address concerns, and support continuous program improvement.

Collaboration & Community Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with Erie County Department of Social Services and other community partners.

  • Participate in meetings with funders, community stakeholders, schools, service providers, and other systems supporting children and families.

  • Advocate for families and support coordination of services across systems.

  • Represent Child and Family Services in a professional manner that reflects the agency's mission and values.

  • Promote equitable access to services and respectful engagement with all children, families, and community partners.
