The Pricing Analyst is responsible for determining the appropriate pricing for company products based on a variety of factors.
Duties include: Reviewing previous sales data and company revenue needs and deciding a market price for a range of products based on their findings.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Ensure invoices appropriately for its work, by analyzing time, labor and material spent on work for its customers.
Ensure invoices match customers' PO as well processes performed as appropriate.
Review historical customer quotes and send to estimating team to update as appropriate.
Analyze invoicing issues and gaps for patterns and underlying issues.
Propose solutions to improve a streamlined process.
Work with Customer Account Managers to obtain revised POs as necessary.
Collaborate with the estimating team to improve consistency in pricing strategies.
Provide cross-functional support across inside sales and estimating as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A detail-oriented, self-starting individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working in multiple ERP/Data systems and with large data sets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn quickly, see patterns, and routinely resolve inconsistencies.
Excellent attention to detail, ability to organize information and maintain focus on detailed tasks for extended periods of time.
Quantitative and operational expertise (analysis, modeling, policy, methodology, reporting)
He/she will be a curious and creative individual able to quickly understand the complexities of the company’s products
Well-rounded business professional with technical acumen and a passion for thinking through pricing issues using data-driven analysis.
Microsoft Office expertise, especially in Excel
Minimum Job Requirements:
1+ years' experience in an estimating, pricing position, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field.
Demonstrated competence in high-throughput/high-impact environments.
PC proficient with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
Individual must be authorized to work in the U.S. under one of the following criteria: 1. A citizen of the United States, 2. A lawful permanent resident, 3. A non-citizen National of the United States.
